Developer Notes:
This is a remake of the acclaimed “The Tesliss Equation,” – an AIF created and authored by GoblinBoy. I’m sure many of you might already be in the know-how of it, have even played it perhaps, and enjoyed many a great – fappenings. Or not. My attempt at it is to recreate a similar experience of an AIF. Generally, an AIF is mostly text-interpreted; a similar experience with a VN would be almost ridiculous and impossible. Instead, the experience lies wherein the aspect of the descriptive parts that cajoles your mind into the exact emotions and expressions of the characters.
Digital art can only give you enough imaginations and thoughts. Still, without the accompanying text to it, they are almost scattered. Everyone’s just left to interpret them however, with very vague directions to them.
But since AIF doesn’t use digital art that much and instead relies on text, text can easily give you that direction. Your imaginations won’t be scattered, they won’t be vague, and you won’t be left to interpret however. But that’s not to say that you’re not allowed to interpret them at all. An intermittent direction is better than total vagueness, letting you achieve a much better result than when you’re left to do them on your own.
And that is what I aim to bring to you in a new form, in a new way.
- Currently, I have planned to rewrite the story in my own words a bit and keep the events as is. So the game will follow the same path of events as the original. Up until the first part of the story. Eventually there’d come a point where free-roam will be available and I’ll have much more leeway that I want to explore out in.
- Since it was an AIF originally, I’ll keep the same format with the textual content. So there’ll be a good amount of reading with accompanying visuals.
- As the game will follow in the original’s footpath, I will make side (or non-canon content) with it. It’ll include both user suggestions and content from my own discretion. This only, mostly applies for the first part where I’m not changing very much about – in terms of scene playout.
