v0.2.3 is a bugfixing update and comes with an announcement.
I’ve been working on an Unity Version for Malevolent Planet lately. Thanks to bearcore, the Lead Dev and Animator of Third Crisis, I’ve had a much easier time getting used to working in Unity and as a result, progress has been made pretty fast.
Below the link, you will find a bunch of early screenshots from the Unity game. I’m working on art for the game and I’m planning on releasing a demo as soon as we have something that will give you plenty of entertainment until a monthly public release schedule will be ready to commence.
This version includes a bunch of bugfixes and overall game text fixes, courtesy of DogDogDogDogDog, a very appreciated member of our public discord.

v0.2.2 – 16th December 2021
- Updated Combat System with more complexity. The System is on-going updates and adjustments may be needed to make combat encounters more intuitive.
- RPG Personality Stats Gameplay Mechanics.Those can for now be used in combat encounters, but they’ll connect to the narrative story of the game as well.
- One New Enemy.
- 7 New Drawings. Available in the last chapter of Sarah’s Quest, Duty Nurse.
v0.2.1 – 10th October 2021
- New Character RPG System. Your choices across the game lead to changes in your character’s personality, which offer advantages/disadvantages in future content.
- New Clothing RPG System. Your currently equipped clothes have specific stats and particularities that will offer advantages/disadvantages in future content.
- New Character & Clothing RPG System UI. Accessible in your smartwatch’s menu. The UIs are currently a work in progress.
- Many new outfits added to the game.
- All of the old outfits have been separated into individual clothing items. The Blackjack minigame is now playable with any clothes you may wish to wear.
v0.2.02 – 1st August 2021
- New Crewmate Quest, Sarah’s. It’s called Duty Nurse. After you finish Anna’s Quest, this one will start automatically and you can see it in your quest log. I’ve added some code that checks if you’ve already finished Anna’s Quest and it’ll start this one, so it should work.
- 8 New Drawings. Accessible in Sarah’s Quest.
- Many more choices and side events than in Anna’s Quest. Accessible in Anna’s Quest. While I was writing this, I added a few mini events that weren’t included in the diagram from above. They will offer you many choices, and in the next update I want to make these choices together with previous ones in the story shape up your character’s personality and stats.
- Backwards Compatibility with Older Saves. Head over to my Patreon if you’d like to download a save with the basic character template that jumps straight to the newest content.

- New Crewmate Quest, Anna’s. It’s called Salvaging Comms. To access her quest, you need to finish the Festival and it will automatically start her quest in your quest log. (hint: visit the Human Camp at Midday after the festival). The other option is to load a save that has finished the Festival Quest.
- Two New Outfits, a Red Dress and Futuristic Outfit + a New Hat Item (relatively). Accessible in your wardrobe.
- 3 New Drawings. Accessible in Anna’s Quest.
- One new expression that portrays happiness.
- One new background.
- A couple of bugfixes, a few of them to older content.
